Registration for the esss 2026 is now open!
Please note that there is NO application procedure and that the limited seats will be sold on a „first come, first serve“ basis.
Participation fee:
Regular: 990 Euro
Reduced / Students: 690 Euro
CANCELLATION POLICY
Up to six weeks before the event: 90% refund (10% handling fee)
Six weeks to one week before the event: 50% refund
One week or less before the event: no refund
Parts of the summer school may be photographed. The images may be used to promote the esss summer school on the summer school website and will be available for the participants in a password protected area.

The esss is a wonderful initiative. Although bibliometrics are becoming more and more important in research evaluation, there is a general lack of appreciation of the intricacies of the different research metrics and data sources. esss will play a key role in building up expertise in this area.
